Mid-Century Makeover

This ranch style home was built in 1965, the same year construction was completed on the Houston Astrodome.  Since then the home has remained virtually unchanged with only a few minor changes. The new owners wanted to completely remodel this old home and create an open floor plan in the living area with a large 12’ kitchen island for all the grandkids to gather around.  

This whole-house renovation was completed in 8 months and included: re-framing ceiling and roof,  add-on kitchen, master bedroom and bath suite, new house plumbing & electrical, rebuilt fireplace, exterior stone veneer, remodeled master and guest bathrooms, added new separate guest bath and additional laundry room. Viking appliances, Kraftmaid Cabinetry.
